Bearings going bad

I took the car to the transmission shop recommended by my mechanic. Diagnosis was bearings going bad around the output shaft. No way of telling when they will fail completely. :( Will post the cost of the repair when I get the bill.

Alternator itself or its bearing is my guess.

Interesting...Idler pulley and bearing were just recenty replaced after a failure.

But yesterday I took the car to a local repair shop in Bright, Victoria and they told me the noise was coming from the automatic transmission and I would need to take ...
