Hello all,

My 2012 Pathfinder has a problem with the heating system, it only blows either hot or cold air.

For example, I only get heat at 32 setting, anything below is usually cold air.
But on a cold morning, I get hot air blowing at 25 inside the car with 3 degrees showing outside.

Thanks for the replies chaps.

It's in neutral and drive, more so noticeable in drive as I'm spending more time in D.

Strange thing is that it seems to be clearing up, a little.
Just a theory so correct me if you think this doesn't make sense but I'm feeling like Sherlock here...

Its not the engine mounts apparently, as per the Nissan dealer that I bought from. However, they couldn't quite replicate the problem so I left with just a throttle clean to see if that helped.

Quick update if interested.

I don't think its the mounts actually. No issues when cold, only when warmed up. It idles ok and then intermittently the revs feel and sound like they're dropping/searching or a sec and come back.

It also feels like the revs are low, around 600rpm I'd say.

Great, thanks for that, I don't mind it being part of its personality as long as it's not a fault as such.

Getting the mounts checked out anyway next week so hopefully that will uncover whether it is an issue or not.

Quick update - noticing there is a vibration through the wheel and seat when idling or under load, could this be a bad engine mount?

Just bought a 2012 LE, with 60k miles on it. Looks great and drives fantastic so very happy with it.
However, quick question as I've never had something like this before.
