Nissan told me to go F myself because there is no recall on the part and they are not aware of the chain issue (yeah right). I have 2 quotes from Nissan dealers $2248 and $1500 they both include the water pump. The one quoting me the $2248 is the dealer we bought it from and there service department...

If the calipers were bad, you would likely see a lot of glazing or even heat discoloration on the rotors. Brake squeak is often caused by lack of lubrication on the hardware or low quality pad composition; my guess would be the latter. I am guessing the same. I had no issues until the second they d...

Brake Squeal

I had Midas put all new brakes on my 2009 Pathy and also paid for them to clean the calipers. They have been squealing ever since they were put on a couple years ago. they told me my calipers were shot and they can replace them for $500 + dollars. I have had others look at the calipers and they say ...

What steps should I take to try and get them to cover the repair?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I used to have the issue in our 2009 Pathy that you could leave it running and it would not start putting out heat until you started to drive it. Took it to the dealer and they told me the air pocket thing. So I finally went to a honest local shop and told them the story. they looked and said the re...

4 Wheel Hi Clunk Sound

I was driving in snowy conditions yesterday and decided to put our 2009 Pathfinder in 4 wheel Hi. As I was driving I would hear a clunk/bang every several miles with maybe a subtle jerk. It was like something was pounded the bottom of the vehicle. It would only happen every once and a while, but ran...

I agree with gettign the 7 pin harness from Nissan, I did and it was plug and play. I also agree with the Air1000 lift system. One of the best investments in my opinion. I pull a 5500/6000lb. dry boat/trailer with the Pathy and the stock shocks could not handle the weight ass the Pathy has a soft re...

Took the truck into the dealer to have the coolant levels looked at and they say the coolant is fine.

Does anyone know what we should have them look at to get and idea what is causing this?

Heater Issue

Our 2009 Pathfinder will sit in the garage warming up and when we come out 20 minutes later there is cold air coming out of the vents, as soon as we start driving warm air comes out.

Well the Nissan dealer spent a whole day looking into this and couldnt find anything. Then one of the techs mentioned he has seen this problem when the master window switch in the door got wet. So looked and there was no sign of moisture so they replaced it because they think it might be low level s...
