Re: No Start - Fuel rail

Thanks for that site Mad Dog. I'm in the middle of replacing a lot of things and I broke a few injector connectors, so needless to say, I need a few. Lots of brittle plastic under the hood.

Re: 1996 Retro Review

Gotta love the comments section of YouTube sometimes. Also love watching these retro Motorweek reviews. I could sit and watch them all day. Could care less if it was about an old Chevy Citation or Ford Tempo. It's good stuff.

Re: New R50 owner

I'll let you know how things turn out once I put everything back together. I think I took on more than I can chew, but slowly but surely things are getting replaced and put back together. I'd like to emphasize the 'slowly' part. :D Had a quick question. I needed some hose, specifically the hoses tha...

Re: Rear bump stops / part number confusion

Alright, just got back from the junk year earlier. Unfortunately I forgot my phone in my car and didn't get pictures, but I did walk around and compare the part numbers on them to the others in the yard. All were factory and lined up exactly the same and they all had the same - 55240-0W010 - part nu...

Re: Rear bump stops / part number confusion

So the ones that I have on mine are the black/grey ones. I'm curious if the other ones will fit as well (mostly because I can get them for almost 50% off compared to OEM). Will more than likely head to the junk yard and compare fitment. They take all the wheels off the vehicles after they move them ...

Rear bump stops / part number confusion

Hoping some one can answer this if possible. I have a 97 Pathfinder and am having trouble finding which bump stop part number is valid or if they're one and the same. Maybe one was for 4WD and another for 2WD? I do need at least one replacement since one is torn/ripped from age. I did find 1 company...

Re: New R50 owner

Definitely will do. The thing is that I'm finding out that A LOT of R50 parts are either discontinued or in short supply so have to resort to sites like eBay or the junk yard. I did take a look at the vendors that didn't pay their bills in the marketplace and will be actively avoiding from purchasin...

Re: New R50 owner

Found OEM for slightly less than $30 with free shipping on eBay. Courtesy Nissan in Dallas. I'm pretty sure I'm just going to go with these - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Nissan ... 2540162836

Re: New R50 owner

Ok, more project related stuff. The door is still not working. To be fair, I've only looked at it and haven't done much. As in, I've literally only looked at the door and decided I'll fight that battle another day. I am worried about damaging the door panel though. There's a few at the junk yard her...

Re: Replacement body parts r50

I echo what SMJ said. I have a 97 that I'm fixing up and have had more luck with eBay than any other site. A lot of items I'm finding are discontinued so dealers are only selling off what's still out there. I noticed that quite a few places in the UAE sell OEM R50 parts. The part price itself is goo...

Re: New R50 owner

Had some time to work and check the vehicle. Haven't done much, but it's a work in progress. Done 1. Replaced the sway bar bushings (Moog) 2. Replaced end links (Scitoo - your typical random named China brand). 3. Replaced the EGR due to code (friend ordered it from Rockauto a while back and the box...

Re: New R50 owner

First time I'm hearing about that coolant hose, but I'll def replace it with an OEM one. Was on NissanPartsDeal earlier looking for those rear control arm bolts. I'll add the hose to my order.

Re: New R50 owner

HEY all, glad to be back! Wasn't expecting an answer to this so quickly so many thanks for providing one. The header and cam was more of a side item in the 'things that I'd like to do, but probably won't do' category :D Looks like the genuine Euro spec cam is long gone (discontinued) so I'd have to ...

New R50 owner

Hey all, I recently found myself in need of a truck/SUV as I've recently traded in my R51. A buddy of mine had a 1997 R50 that's been sitting around as a second vehicle for quite some time. It almost has 180k miles on it. He ended up selling it to me for $400. It has a new battery, new tires, new sh...

Looks good man. Back in the day I had a 96 Honda CBR 600. Fun bike and handled like a dream. I miss those days. :)
