Why don't you use the seat memory? Or don't you have it? I have stored my positions (seats and mirrors) on 1 and my wife's on 2. Works perfectly!

which company did you use to buy the fan clutch? I will be needing one as well and live in canada I bought it through a seller on eBay (easier for me from the Netherlands as Nissan dealers don't want to send overseas) : http://www.ebay.com/itm/232225704302?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageNam...

Instrument cluster LCD display went out...

Yesterday suddenly the right LCD display (odometer) in my '05 didn't display anything. After pressing the odometer reset button, the text came back so no worries. However; this morning the display again didn't show anything and the button didn't help. After driving for half an hour; the left display...

Yeah; I don't think I needed to clean it, but I am used to cleaning the MAF sensors in my vehicles after every year or so. Just a habit :-)

Finally received my genuine Nissan fan clutch from the States and replaced the loud new aftermarket one. Unbelievable how quiet it is from the start; wow... I was able to replace the fan clutch in under 30 minutes by not removing the fan shroud and all. I just removed the engine cover, intake, top c...

Thanks. I also think it might be the needle that needs to be repositioned.

I will go and look for instructions on how to remove the cluster.

Recalibrate/reset needle in gauge cluster?

It looks like the needle of the coolant temperature of my recently bought '05 Pathfinder (EU spec) sits too low when the cluster is turned off. As a result; the temperature is never shown correctly; it shows around 1/8 inch above cool while the coolant temp is around 80 degrees Celcius (read through...

Thanks; I went to the local Nissan dealership over here in the Netherlands today and asked them for an OEM fan clutch. Guess what? They cost $590 over here! What?!?!? So I just went ahead and ordered a genuine OEM Nissan fan clutch from a company in the USA including shipping and customs to the Neth...

You think this behavior could be due to aftermarket?

If so I need to order a Nissan part!

Replaced fan clutch, now roar at startup?

Hi guys! I replaced my visco fan clutch (of my '05 4.0 V6) last Sunday because it was continuously engaged when at operating temperature and therefore loud. After replacing the fan is nice and silent once the engine is at operating temperature, but every single (cold) start of the engine it is fully...

Thanks! I am not planning on going offroad (I have my Jeep Cherokee and Rally Grand Cherokee for that fun) so a 2" lift would be sufficient for good looks. Currently I am running 36 psi (2.5 bar) and I have the feeling it is on the hard side but time has to tell (looking at the wear pattern). I...

New wheels on my '05 Pathfinder - 285/50R20 - tire pressure?

I've just put some new wheels and tires on my recently bought Pathfinder over here in the Netherlands (Europe) and I do like how the stance looks now. Somewhat more aggressive and not too ricy. They are Cooper Zeon LTZ 285/50R20 on KMC Rockstar 2 (9x20). Stock suspension and no rubbing. Only thing I...
