Re: No heat in the cabin.

I had a moment when the heat was working either.
A restart of the car fixed it instantly so I am suspecting a vent actuator internal to the dash over a heat pump.
happened only once..
Still am keeping an eye on it since the HVAC is a critical life support system in extreme climates.

Pics of R51 Pathy with Moog rears settled for a week

Pics of R51 Pathy with Moog rears settled for just under a week. About 500 miles on them. Not sure if they are fully settled yet or not but right now at least they look 2 inches lifted. What are people's thoughts? These are the Moog rear springs for the V8, so perhaps the mild lift that the V6 guys ...

Re: Front end rebuild

My new '08 feels a bit loose.

I been thinking about that as well but according to the CARFAX its has front control arms and bearing already done. :?

Going to do new struts up front and new shocks in rear and see if that cleans it up.
My Tech says front looks fine under there.

I can't see why an automotive upholsterer wouldn't be able to make a carpet for the back of your Pathy?
Hmmm,

I been meaning to go to an upholstery shop anyway, to restore my drivers seat bottom on the left.. (its not terrible just needs a bit of TLC)... so maybe I will bring that up.

Re: Need brighter lights

Ok my Phillip XtremeVisions are in the '08 now! :D Can definitely tell a difference. I admit for the foglights (H11 bulb) i enlisted the help of a shop that was installing a new windshield washer reservoir pump (turns out u need the entire assembly to include the reservoir). I just couldnt get in th...

Look at what's on the inside of the gas filler cover. If it says that premium is recommended for maximum performance, than you can use 87 octane. If it say premium fuel is "required," then use premium fuel. That said, in my experience, VQ and VK engines tend to run a little smoother on premium. Tha...

Re: Any good alternative to the Moog Springs?

Reviews of the Ranchos have been mixed. Thanks! :D I been moving away from the Ranchos also I just dont want the 2 inch lift as I am not prepared to replace my brand new springs. I cant decide which of the complete strutassemblies (springs included) on Rockauto would be good. Any recommendation? FC...
