Re: Rear End Feels Unstable

I remember I once bought an Xterra. seemed fine testdriving it around the block. but driving home the front end wallowed badly. Took months to figure it out. Finally almost by accident figured out it was shocks, after a couple hops told me "front shocks are fine". Bought slightly used ones...

So .. does it make sense to renew my cooling system if its running fine?

I dont like the idea of an old radiator and TStat. My radiator hoses have already been replaced. But my vehicle (this is my other Nissan SUV the XTerra) does not overheat even in rush hour traffic in Florida 100F in the shade heat ( which I know is hotter on the road). I am not hurting for money rig...

Re: The ever popular "rear alignment" issue

So add me to this list. I have an Ironman4x4 2" lift. Originally it aligned just fine in the rear, then I had to replace all rear control arms due to bad ball joints. I got the only aftermarket option which is the NAPA/Mevotech control arms. Camber was off big time. I just installed the eccent...

Who makes the Nissan OEM T-Stats?

....who makes the OEM tstat? I am about to order multiple items from Rock Auto one of which will be anew Tstat. I intend to further fortify one of my Nissan SUVs against the incredible heat. I have had no issues in Florida summer.. Yet.. Otherwise I will be happy to order it from a Nissan parts dept...

I know this may be a dumb question but have you carefully checked all the bushings?

Re: Aftermarket rear view camera?

So what is likely wrong with mine with the intermittent failure? Can it be likely repaired? If it's blacking-out then it's possible it's a wiring issue. If it's bluing-out or you're getting weird lines then chances are the cam is shot. If it's not coming on when you shift to reverse then it's most ...

Re: Where under the hood is the heater inlet pipe?

I inspected on both my 08 Pathfinder and my 11 Xterra. Both seem in very good shape. Still I dont like the idea of potentially leaving a weakness that could get me stranded  Keep a couple of small visegrip clamps in your toolkit. There's no reason to ever get stranded by a heater hose unless ...

Re: Where under the hood is the heater inlet pipe?

I had that exact piece fail on mine. I replaced it with the entire assembly hoses and all with the cheapest OEM found on ebay. Holding up great 4 years later. Highly recommended to inspect, mine started as a small leak and should of replaced it once the signs were there. I inspected on both my 08 P...
