Re: Got some new tires - Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015

Just closing the loop, I have had these tire for almost 6 years, 55,000 miles now. They have been great and have worn very even but the tread depth is now low and i'm starting to get some rotational noise. I will be changing them out to either the same size or go up one size here in the next few wee...

I think it works pretty well though I dont use it unless there is snow on the ground. If there are few inches and im not driving over 45mph, I'll just set it to 4High. But if its less than 2 inches, I'll throw it in Auto. I don't notice any slippage unless under heavy acceleration. Its a smooth tran...

Besides camber bolts and an alignment, is there anything else I would need for the 2.5" lift? Was planning on getting a new vehicle but we bought the wife something pretty so I plan on keeping the pathy. Want to put some money into it as I plan on keeping it the next 5 years. I like the idea of...

Uneven rotor wear

I've had a slight scraping noise for a few months that only last a minute after I first start moving from cold. It only happens when at slow speeds and goes away. I couldn't find where it was coming from but I figured it had to be the brakes or hub. Well last night I got down and looked at the front...

I haven't seen anyone with the hoops, and I don't believe the frontier ones will match up 100% but if you have the cash anything is possible. A more common option on here are the www.rocky-road.com super sliders. They look nice and actually offer great protection. They might not work for steps if yo...

Measure the rotors' thickness with a caliper. According to smj, http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=8673&sid=5f438308efb2cb564976ab748ea5837f, the minimum thickness for the front rotor is 24.5mm (0.965") and rear rotor is 12mm (0.472"). But according to the tech manual for the...

From what you've answered then I would say either the radiator has gone bad or the replaced water pump is defective.

I have a few questions to get a clear picture on what your dealing with. Are you losing any coolant? Meaning the level slowly is going down over time and you need to add. Do you overheat no matter what your doing or only when not going highway speeds? I would check the hoses when you first start up ...

From what I see from other posts, that you need to initialize the TCM to the ECM with a correct scan tool.

Unfortunately this version of phpBB (from 2005) is really lacking in that functionality. The owner of the site approached us a few months ago asking if us admins wanted to take over the domain, but honestly I'm out of my depth and haven't done that before. And haven't had as much time to delete spa...

Need better spam filters

I can't believe the amount of spam and fake accounts are being allowed. Can the mods get the site admin to update the filters and better verification for new members?
