Had a Suburban with leaky fuel injectors (twice in 5 years) that did the same exact thing. Replaced the injectors and on my way.
A fuel pressure leak down test confirms this. Put a pressure gauge on the rail, turn the key on and check the pressure. I think it's supposed to be about >45psi (but ...
