I had the rears done just after I did the fronts. Needed a ramp as the bolts sheared off as they not been done for so long, probably the originals?
So my local garage drilled,tapped and replaced with new bolts.

Doesn’t wallow about so bad now and lost a squeak 😀

I’m going to look into changing the thermostat.
It’s been like it since I bought it last year and never
overheated or anything.
Have been sat in loads of traffic too, so might leave alone.

Bleedin heater

Followed the 'nipple bleed' method today for my Pathfinder. Rigged up a pipe from the bleed nipple to the expansion bottle and started her up. Put a block on the pedal to allow around 2000 rpm. slowly got hot. The diesel's rad fan runs all the time on a clutch so is always cooling. Left all the heat...

I’m all mended and no more leaking seal.
The part from Nissan was £26 plus vat and

Stuck the nose in the air on a slope and ramps to burp. Removed the two caps and added a funnel to top up. There were a few large bubbles on squeezing the top hose. I have seen on the internet push switches which look almost the same as the original switches.
The blanks on the dash ( pedal switch side ) are the easiest to get to and feed to. two self tappers and it unclips :-)
