I purchased the volt meter you sent me the link on and seems to be working good. I get green lights during driving with about 14.5 Volts. Thank you for the information on this voltmeter. I looked it up on Amazon and looks to be about the same price. I was thinking about something today because I always keep my phone charger plugged into the top power port so was going to see if having something plugged in or not will make a difference...

Sorry i wasn't clear on the alternator part. I assumed this was the problem going into the dealership but they said it was fine and didn't need to be replaced. We will see what happens when I take it back in this week.
