It happens when the polyurethane shoe on the tensioner gives up and the chain is running on metal. Sound is RPM ...

Cant figure it out. When accelating I have a squeeling noise coming from the front at first I I thought it was a pully or the belt. Had them replaced. Still making noise. Couple of days later my fan. Answer #1: It never made a gurgling noise, but I can tell you that the engine cooling system can appear full at the reservoir while really missing 2/3 of its fluid. I only got a few minutes this morning to check things out and discovered that the U-joint for the forward drive shaft near the transfer case has some play in it. Center console between the seats or center in the dash?
