Re: Wheel size Question / alignment/ rear axle

There is no issue with moving the wheels out board as long as there is adequate clearance to the fenders and turning radius. A slight negative offset on a wheel moves the tire out a bit. I up-sized to a wider and taller tire rim/tire combo. It looks great and drives fine. All the alignment specs are...

Re: Back to KYB

A lot of people are starting to go with Moog rear springs for their stock suspension, as they are definitely and upgrade over the original equipment springs. Early on, that wasn't an option so many (including myself) went with Airlift 1000 air bags which helped a lot! It was probably more of the is...

I quit running any pressure in my rear air bags when I installed those springs. Before I was running 8-10 psi. Now I just need them for load leveling when I carry stuff in the back. The Moog springs are really stiff enough that you don't need any pressure when you have no weight in the rear. Really...

are these any good

So I've had my 2010 pathy V6 LE for a few months now. I've read a lot of stuff in these forums and did some work to it. Springs, bags, alignment cams, serpentine belt. Rad bypass/cooler, Wheels and tires. Its got 150,000klm on it and is a really clean SUV, no rust no dings. I'm a bit worried reading...

Re: Hole in muffler - spitting out water ?

After changing the spark plugs today I had noticed a strong exhaust smell and realized I have two holes in my exhaust. One is on a seam just above the muffler. The other is on the back end of the muffler and water was spitting out of the pinhole. Very strange. What could be the reason for the water...

Remote start options

I was hoping not to hunt thru threads. Has anyone had good success with a remote start for 2010 Pathfinder?

I think these engines are just loud, nature of the beast. Be it crappy insulation from the driver area or whatever. Just a lot of noise in general. The trans lockup is such a low RPM it has a very similar sound to the low idle scenario, put it over to manual 4th and its way quieter with more RPM. Th...

Engine noise

I'm a new owner of a Pathfinder. Do these V6 engines have a lot of road noise? Acceleration is simply loud. I'm used to Honda Pilots and Ridgelines which are really quiet engines. There seems to be a lot of trans vibration when at a low RPM in 5th gear and convertor locked up too. I don't feel there...

I don't what happened here. My radio and clock would not hold memory. I found a missing fuse in the panel by the glove box which was not labeled. I put one in but nothing new happened. 3 days later my clock and radio are holding memory. No clue what the deal is with that but it works. Is it related,...

Well I got lucky, the front control arm bolts came loose and I was able to install new cams. Every control arm adjuster is now replaced with a liberal coating of anti seize. Alignment shop liked me for that lol. What a lot of work!!
Drives great.
