Front and Rear SASed R51

I was watching Ultimate Adventure on the Motortrend channel and saw an R51 that was SASed both front and rear. Here is the link to the first video in the series. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8dZRTc4w04 It isn't shown very much throughout all five videos but I wish we could find out who owns it a...

Re: 2" lift recommendations and potential UCA rubbing?

I used square tubing that I bought from a local shop. Total cost for tubing cut to size was $11. I bought the extended bolts at https://www.boltdepot.com/.
All total I lifted 3" in the front and 2" in the rear for just a little over $100.

Re: 2" lift recommendations and potential UCA rubbing?

I did the subframe drop in the rear and it did not mess with the alignment at all. As for the front, I went with the 3" spacers from Supreme Suspension and had to change out the Camber bolts in the lower control arms to get it back in alignment for the front. I also learned a lot from Alger Adv...

Re: Engine cooling fan clutch & overheating

Last summer my thermostat went out and I had to replace it. Since then my temperature gauge will fluctuate just a little. I thought it was weird because the only time I have ever seen one move is when a vehicle overheats. However, I have not had any issues with over heating since replacing the therm...

Re: Help removing rear shock bolts

IF all of that fails, I would use a Sawzall with a metal blade and cut them off. That's what I had to do. I went to AutoZone and bought new bolts.

Re: 2006 Nissan Pathfinder Burning Oil Smell

Those are your valve cover gaskets! I just changed mine out about a year ago. You have to take off the air intake to get at them, as well as, disconnect the wiring harness. This video is very helpful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftHfzvl48H4 It does take 6+ hours to complete this job and you migh...

Re: Wheel Hub

That's funny. When I did mine this past summer (front passenger) I couldn't get the plug separated so I just took the sensor out of the wheel hub and kept the old one. It is working just fine!

Rain-X Blades and Fluid for me as well. We had a very heavy storm through Missouri this past week. Most cars were pulled off to the side and I barely had my wipers on.
