One tip I used that was super helpful...
Brilliant! I could've used that when I took apart my dishwasher yesterday!

Re: Rear Wheel Well - missing fender flaps?

So I think that the difference here is the running boards... Versions delivered without the stock running boards have those mini mud flaps, but you never see them on models with the running boards. I could be wrong, but i made a trip to the auto wrecker today and the 2012 there did not have boards b...

If there's an R51, I usually park next to it out of principle. This time, someone else did the same!
Lol. The only time I got upset while teaching my son to drive was when he refused to park next to a twin R51 at the grocery store.

Kids these days!

Re: Rear Wheel Well - missing fender flaps?

Can confirm in my 2012, mud flaps on the rear of the wheel well, and notches in the front side.

Re: Losing time

Yes, it is cold right now (-31°c / -24°f), but the clock has been falling more behind all year. The battery was new in October 2021. I will check the terminals and maybe throw on the trickle charger tomorrow. She was a bit reluctant to start the first time today, but started up and never flinched on...

Losing time

Hey everyone, I have a 2012 PF, with the back up camera/rear climate control etc. On January 1, 2023 I set the clock to match my phone, right down to the second lol. Today, the PF clock is running about 3-1/2 minutes behind! Is this a symptom of something else that I should be worried about? We've h...

Happy Sesquarmillennial!! That's amazing, and great news for me, with almost exactly half that mileage (171,771km) 😊.

Re: No tow/haul button…

Thanks Spatula! Sounds like your in Alberta too! It’s been too long since I’ve camped at Cypress, maybe next year when I’ve got an outfit! I also see you’ve got a nice MTB. That’s the main reason I want a camper so we can start doing family MTB trips. My son and I hit Hinton this year and had so mu...

It always makes me smile when I fit 10' 2x4s in the pathy. I took down a section of our fence yesterday a built a double gate to replace it, easily fit all the lumber and hardware in the pathy in one trip. Granted it's a small job, but do I need a frontier? Truck no! :D

Re: No tow/haul button…

Hi Justin, I posted about my own learning experience towing with my 2012 SV a couple years back: https://www.thenissanpath.com/topic20753.html In short, my towing issues were more about my own lack of knowledge than the R51. I had been trying to drive too fast with too much payload. She performed as...

Re: Broken spring

Success! New rear Moog 81119 coil springs, new nuts & bolts and used a whole lot of PB Blaster. I did have some trouble getting the air bags to fit in the new springs, they were really formed to the shape of the old coils. Wheel alignment scheduled for Monday; hosed down all the F&R adjustin...

Re: Spring HELP!

I talked to Moog support and they advised that it's flat end, so they can end anywhere. They won't need to line up exactly like the old ones...I guess we'll find out.

Spring HELP!

My new Moog 81119 spring tips don't align with the old springs rubber seats. There is no physical way to have both top and bottom seat arrows align with the arrows on the cups... Is this a problem? Can I just align the bottom...?

Re: Broken spring

To clarify, in the service manual the schematic refers to part #9 as "Rear Lower Link." But this is the same part that my mechanic referred to as the" Rear Lower Control Arm" and also known as the "Coil Bucket," right? These terms are interchangeable? I just want to mak...
