FREE: (1 season) Snow tires + wheels for 1991 Pathfinder

So i had one of these vehicles until 2 years ago (and over 350K miles) and had just gotten brand new snow tires for it when it had an accident which ended its life... So i have 4 snow tires on wheels that i'd be happy if someone wanted. The Tires are these: Wheels: 15x7 KMC XD Series Enduro Black Pa...

Anyone have a WD21 they want to sell? (in or near California

my WD21 had an accident and i need to replace it. (I might be able to fix it eventually so i'm not disposing of it), but I'd like to buy a replacement. (yes, sad. i was really hoping to get to 400K with that vehicle and may seomday if i get parts and replace the stuff that needs it) I've found some ...

1993 XE V6 as replacement for a 1991 SE-V6

So, anyone have any clues as to what might be the differences between the 1993 and 1991 models? My 1991 had an accident and i found a guy selling a manual 1993 XE V6 locally that has some interior damage due to a theft. I may pick it up and "transplant" parts from my 1991 to it. DOes anyon...

Oh and if you are shifting into 4L, it'll take a little roll forward before it fully shifts in (my experience on mine). The thing i forgot how to do (because i dont use 4L that much) is how to get *out* of it. Push the engage knob *down*, then it comes right out... The reason i say to roll a litle b...

Might be the final ride for my 1991 WD21

with 341K miles on it. I had it out at Black Rock this weekend and it did fine there :-) However i had an accident on the way home on the highway and i'm not sure its worth repairing a 23 yr old vehicle. (I'm sure it *is* repairable, but it'd cost 3K or so i'm sure). Pics are here : Alas the vehicle...

Re: Raw Gas Smell

In the mornings, I start my 94 pathfinder and let it warm up (winter here). After about 5 or 10 minutes I have a Raw Gas smell under the hood. If I start it and drive down the street with the heater on, I smell gas also. After it warms up, I don't smell it. I don't see any leaks anywhere. What coul...

i think i have this problem. My 1990 wont shift after getting progressively harder to shift for a few days. I'm suspecting a lack of clutch fluid. So two quesions: - what *is* clutch fluid (ie. what do i buy to replace it) and - assuming this just happened, can i add more to the resevoir and just ex...

My 91's speedometer *always* has read about 4mph high at 70mph indicated. I never realized it till i started runnign with a GPS all the time.

I think its just a "feature".

However its been that way for 19 years now and its never gotten worse :-)

Thats a funny question! Actually i have a '91 with 264K on it now. Runs great by the way. Anyway, what i did is kind of ad-hoc. I tok a 2x3, cut off a piece and then screwed that to the floor in getween the two front seats, then i mounted 2 of the smaller "Euro" style cupholders to the top...

replacmeent/reupholstering drivers seat

I have leather seats in my 1991 and they're finally starting to go on the edges. KNow any place that will reupholster seats or a source of replacement leather seats? I have the light interior (off white).

Thanks

I use 87/89 normally at low altitude. If i'm going to drive at higher altitudes, i use 93. It makes a huge difference driving to places like Yosemite, or anywhere over 3 or 4000 ' elevation. So generally when i *leave* the bay area, i upgrade gas. Also i tend to do one tak of premium chevron or shel...

I have a 1991 that just passed 263K original owner miles... Things i've done: - no service except oil changes/filter/fluid changes from 150K->191K - replaced original shocks @ 191K - rebuilt transmission @ 227K (Manual 5 speed) - Front wheel bearings @ 241K - Timing Chain @ 85K, 150K (or so) and 205...
