Re: Bleedin heater

Have yet to successfully bleed. I think the key is getting the correct angle to force the hiccups, but also wondering if that little valve next to the brakes might be the culprit.

Re: Nissan Pathfinder 2010 with Armada 20" Wheels

Nice! Been looking at how to get a more aggressive stance without too much alteration. How did it affect the ride quality though?

Re: No heat in the cabin.

I've had the same issue with intermittent heat as long as I can remember. Luckily, Texas weather doesn't require the use of the heater much. I have had a full flush and bleed done twice just for fluid maintenance. Never touched the ts in all 5 years and never ran hot. It does fire up at 2000 rpm, an...

Re: Newbie in TX

Happy New Year...hope everyone is safe and well. Went ahead and replaced the MAF with a Hitachi OEM from Autozone, and went back to the paper air filter(STP)...problem solved!

MAF sensor issues.... Stumped

I installed a new aftermarket MAF 2 days ago, reprogrammed ECU, drove 10 miles to station and we passed state inspection. Drove 10 miles home with no problems. Did an oil change yesterday and during pressure check the CES ABS & VDS lamps come back and she misfires above 2500 rpm. Aaargh! 2007 LE...

Re: Wheel Bearing Hub

Bought my hub off Amazon. Forgot which brand. Took about 8 hrs with no help and minimal tools/space. Broke a hammer trying to free the hub from spindle. 3 years later it's still rolling... You can do it!

Re: Bump when decelerating and accelerating at around 45 mph

I had similar performance after my 2nd MAF via Amazon. Bought the Hitachi, changed the plugs and pcv. No more issues.

OBD says P0113, which is the IAT sensor, apparently built into the MAF. I'm guessing that oil from the K&N may have contaminated so I've sprayed with cleaner and changed back to paper filter. Will try ECM flash to try and clear code and see if it returns. Truck starts and runs normally otherwise.

Thanks mates! For now I have to conquer this air/fuel mix problem. I installed a new aftermarket MAF 2 days ago, reprogrammed ECU and we passed state inspection. Did an oil change yesterday and during pressure check the CES ABS & VDS lamps come back and she misfires above 2500 rpm. Aaargh!

Amazon sells the Maf for about $20 US. I wouldn't rely on the sensor itself, been through 2 within a year but gasket should cure your illness. Return the sensor unused for a refund. I'd avoid permatex in that area if at all possible.

Newbie in TX

Greetings all. I bought a used 2007 LE, partially out of desperate need for reliable transportation but also had a nostalgic draw from a tricked out '92 my employer drove when they were new. 5 years and 90K miles later, the only major problem was bad bearings which translated to hub replacement. Bee...
