Re: Back to KYB

I hear ya, but maybe where you live roads are better or you don't go off road as often. My type of off road are gravel roads with big potholes and in very bad condition... I live in Vancuver island btw.. My girlfriend hates going off road cause of that... taking the tire pressure to 25 helps a lot t...

Re: Back to KYB

I am in the same boat, installed Bilstein cause everyone was recommending them and I hate the ride. Shorckplus told me these were the softest: https://www.shocksurplus.com/products/kyb-strut-plus-shock-spring-assembly-rear-excel-g-shocks-set-for-2005-2009-nissan-pathfinder-4wd-rwd-awd I am doing res...

Re: Has anyone done 4600 Bilstein front and rear?

I asked them, it's the 60810 you said. Ordered!

I am pretty much satisfied with the ride now, but I wish the front end would soak up bumps better.

I got the Bilstein 4600...

Cheers!

Re: Has anyone done 4600 Bilstein front and rear?

I replaced rack and pinion bushings from this australian company "superpro" they reduced NVH by a 30 to 40% https://www.suspension.com/products/nissan_pathfinder_4wd_2008 They have lots of high quality poly bushings! Got curious about the air bags. What's the specific part number for them?...

Re: Has anyone done 4600 Bilstein front and rear?

Hey man, what do exactly the airbags in the rear improve?

Prevent springs from bottoming out off road?

Do they improve ride comfort at all on the highway, over speed bumps :P or on roads in bad condition?

Re: Has anyone done 4600 Bilstein front and rear?

Awesome man! let me know how that goes! I just picked up my truck from the shop and I am stoked! all the noises are gone and ride is way better! buttery smooth compared than before. It is so hard to find a competent shop! I got someone to change my rack and pinion bushings previously (he installed t...

Re: Why so many hate Rancho RS9000xl shocks?

Just came back from Nissan, they said that Body mounts are the problem, that's where all vibration is coming from... So they wanna replace those bushings.

Let's see how that goes. I will get it done next month though ))

Why so many hate Rancho RS9000xl shocks?

Are they way too soft? poor quality? too much body roll even on stiffest setting?
what is it!

is the 9 mark as stiff as a Bilstein 4600?

Why is bad having adjustability?

Re: Softer springs for the front end?

I see your point. This is the only one that fits the Pathfinder 2008 V8 https://www.gorancho.com/products/shock-absorbers/rs9000xl-performance-strut/rancho-rs9000xl-strut-rs999787.html I can regulate dampening which sounds ideal I emailed FOX and the said their shocks don't feet the Path, which soun...

Re: Softer springs for the front end?

Thanks! I will road test the truck with a Nissan Mechanic on Wednesday. Truck is okay with big speed bumps or off road, very soft. Problem is on highway with small imperfections. Steering wheel vibrates, truck shakes and jumps around. Sketchy! Will post what they say at Nissan. I am researching on t...

Re: Softer springs for the front end?

I'm just gonna take it to Nissan on Wednesday and road test with a mechanic for noises over bumps. I am pretty sure there is something wrong with it. the vibration on steering wheel when going over patches or road imperfections is insane It does nose dive when I brake, so I guess springs are soft en...

Softer springs for the front end?

Hey fellas, I already have Bilstein 4600 in the front end. Now I am looking for softer springs to give it a more car like ride. Or would you recommend a strut? I prefer the spring cause I already invested on the bilsteins. Let me know if you have direct experience with this. Cheers! P.S. I don't car...

I've changed all 4 sway bar links, one was broken, the driving dynamics are improving considerably.

Also I got rid of some noise, but I can still feel some.

I ordered sway bar bushings for front and rear.

Let's see how it goes!
