Re: Considering BFG T/A KO2 replacement

The Jeep guys call it a poor man's beadlock.

I myself have a set of 37" tires waiting to go on my 8" wide wheels and minimum requirement is 8.5" width as well.

Re: ***List of upgrade for max HP from V8 LE***

Preformance Racing's website appears to be down at the moment, hopefully not permanently, but according to their R51 V8 drag strip warrior...intake manifold. $$$$ though. Try to reach out to them as they personally drag race their R51 Pathfinder with a manual transmission conversion.

Re: Does the R51 auto lock

Both my 2008 and 2011 does not auto lock when parked. However, they do auto lock once I'm driving and I get up to 10-15 mph.

Re: Considering BFG T/A KO2 replacement

Maybe the AT3Ws you bought are passenger rated as oppose to LT rated hence why it handles on the road so much better than your previous two sets of tires. I had a set of Wildpeaks A/T on my Frontier and I actually liked them and handled well on and off road. I never minded replacing sets of tires of...

Re: Copart Buy - 2011 V8 4x4

I actually haven't had a chance to update this thread. I was off the last six weeks from work, but instead of fixing/upgrading cars I was busy going out with the family  Had to enjoy the last bit of warmth before the cold starts rolling in. Some pics and updates should be up later tonight or to...

I'm not new anymore...

However, I did want to introduce my latest addition. I was going to pick up a Jeep Comanche and then this one popped up in San Diego, I paid a little more than I wanted since it needs some repairs and new tires. Then the day I picked up this one a really clean Jeep Comanche popped up about 25 miles ...

Re: locked out with dead battery

Yes, you should be able to use the key for the keyhole. Otherwise, time to have a locksmith come out. If you're not the original owner, maybe one of the previous owners changed out the lock and didn't get a key to go with it?

Re: Any/Max Lift with Bilstein 4600 Shocks?

Same concept as the bushings. Instead of playing with the bushings trying to get the camber to spec, you instead would move the whole control arm via those welded slots instead. If you ever need to replace control arms, you don't need to worry about buying a new set of bushings with new control arms...

Get adjustable ones so you can fine tune it to your particular vehicle.

Re: Any/Max Lift with Bilstein 4600 Shocks?

Personally, if I had to do it all over again. I would go with something like this instead of the bushings:

Re: Spare tire-odd question…

Your question would depend of the area you live in. I live in southern California where it rarely snows so no salt on the road to worry about. In my shoes, I don't have any issues with keeping a spare wheel in good condition where I live year round.

Re: Engine cooling fan clutch & overheating

Never heard any engine whether it's the Vq40 or the VK56 sound like a hovercraft. Maybe try a oem clutch if sold separately? As for your temps slightly going up...when was the last time you changed out your water pump or try to rebleed your cooling system. It could be you have a very minor leak in y...

I see your Pathy has a v6 badge, but what's with the fmic? Diesel swapped or turbocharged vq40?

Nice pics and videos. I could use a tree pulled out of my yard too lol

Welcome home and glad your cars started up fine. Always a bummer when you come back to vehicle issues from a trip.
