Nope, that's hard-coded into the BCM firmware. I've had customers ask the same question and I've never found a configurator for it on any Nissan model.

Your regulator should be p/n 22670-88G00 which shows up unavailable, but RockAuto shows three different aftermarket alternatives, all in the $45~50 range. There are numerous listings on eBay as well for as little as $16.

Get a sniff of the smoke and not just the color. Coolant will smell like coolant, oil will smell like oil, and fuel will smell chokingly-chemical.
