I apologize for the LONG LONG delay in response. Have been trying to find time to get underneath the truck to address some of the suggestions and advice given here - I've just kept getting sidetracked and making excuses (it's been hot the past few weeks  ; central california area). But excuses ...
I know this may have been discussed, but I couldn't find any threads on it through the search. Tried searching "spare tire loose", "spare tire wobble". Problem: spare tire is loose or wobbly :). When the truck goes over bumps or road imperfections, the wheel swings in the back, a...
Early apologies if reviving a 2 year old thread is not of your liking But I need somewhere to cry... Just filled up at Costco (Central California) with 91 in my 2010 at $5.39/gal, 16.5gal... just under $90. This is the highest I recall ever paying since starting to drive back in 1999 😓 And this is j...
...snip... - Cut the unistrut to size with carbide recip saw. Note that the length between the front and back of the rails are different! I almost made this mistake. ...snip How much of a difference in length is it between front and rear crossbars? I did just a rough measurement, and both from and ...
Those look really great! How is the angle of visibility? With halogen/LEDs, the light beam seems to be only about 30'deg each lamp or something (ie. very narrow). The website says the customer should ceramic-coat the lenses to prevent damage. Did you end up doing that? I wonder if just a lens film w...
Weird I was messing around with the PCV a couple weekends ago, and in doing so, I ever so sightly nudged the rubber hose that connects to the supposed "inlet" to the heater hose assembly, and the fitting broke clean off. IMG_20220327_211400.jpg I went and replaced it with a full metal asse...
Took the rig to a local SVRA (state vehicle recreation area) where they have a 4x4 obstacle/play area. I've never off-roaded before, so I didn't go for anything too crazy, just some bumpy routes, some significant inclines, and dirt. Plus, my lift is so mediocre compared to the other jacked-up vehicl...
Finally decided an an upgraded suspension kit, that provided lift :) I'm trying to be modest with the term "lift", as this is a rather subtle "lift" in comparison to a lot of other folks on the forum Model year 2010 LE Lift height:1", 2", 3" etc.... Before: FD 33 7...
I have the 4600's and the Moog's The Moogs started off pretty hard but, I was pleased with the Extra ride height. Under load they perform beautifully and give a real planted feel the Pathfinder. I towed a 4600 lb Travel trailer this year and was very please with the way it handled the weight. Did y...
NWpath thanks! Yes from eyeballing I am guessing 2 inch also. Can’t wait to put new struts on with springs too so they are even Asking for reference and trying to gauge where I want to go with suspension; what struts and springs did you eventually go with up front to match/level with the rear Moog ...

I did the subframe drop in the rear and it did not mess with the alignment at all. As for the front, I went with the 3" spacers from Supreme Suspension and had to change out the Camber bolts in the lower control arms to get it back in alignment for the front. I also learned a lot from Alger Ad...
