Since you said the motor goes out rarely, how would I diagnose what is wrong with it? So the sunroof is closed (and watertight) so I'm not sure if I really want to take it apart to fix it. Is there a fuse specifically for the sunroof or is it tied into the window fuse? I have read the service manual...

Sunroof
Has anyone replaced the sunroof motor? If so how difficult is it? If it is not too bad or the motor is not in some ridiculous spot where I have to drop the headliner I would like to replace it. Thanks!

Thanks for all the help guys. After about 2 weeks of trouble shooting, the head unit is out! So that sucks.... but this forum never lets me down and thanks again guys!

Head unit doesn't turn on
I have a 2009 with the bose system no nav, but has the screen, and the head unit does not power on when the vehicle starts. My wife jump started it, but other than that there has been no electrical work done. Any help would be appreciated. Checked the fuses and none are blown. Thanks!

So far I am loving the forum, lots of helpful people. I just wish I had joined sooner, when I replaced the fan clutch I used a non OEM brand I had used on the GX and now I read that everyone says just use the OEM one or it will constantly be on. And mine is constantly on. But at least now I know!

Restorer for dash fading
I have the tan interior on my 2009 SE. It has the usual fading on the interior dash plastic and I was wondering if anyone knows something that can restore the color/shine/UV protect the TAN interior. Everything I find, only discusses black interior plastic and vinyl. Thanks
