Re: Loss of heat stopped at idle.

Usually it means the coolant is a little low. The heater core is one of the highest points in the system on R51's (and the related Frontiers/Xterras), and automotive water pumps don't generate much head pressure. So it only takes a minor loss of coolant to cause the heat to vanish at low RPM. Ah go...

Loss of heat stopped at idle.

Never had this happen before, but i was idling on the road while waiting for some road work to let me through this AM and after a couple minutes my heat went from HOT to pretty much outside temp. I did not have recirculate on.

Anyone know if this is normal or should I be checking something.

Windshield Washer Nozzles

Hi All,

I have a 2007 Pathfinder S 4x4 and one of my front washer nozzles has very little throw. I was going to replace them with new ones by they appear to be discontinued for my year. Anyone know if there is a later year there fits the 2007 correctly?

Re: What does everyone tow?

Thanks for this. Wife and I have been looking into a trailer option for 5 that would be pulled by our 2007 pathfinder s 4x4 with a 2-inch lift and almost 33's. Not sure how the lift would effect this, but would probably need airbags to tow anything heavy.

No knowledge here either. Unless you count brembo and oem. Not even sure whether those or any others are available.

Re: Knocking noise from AC compressor

Not sure if this should be on this forum but here goes. When I use my Aircon, after a few minutes I'll get a knocking noise, maybe 15 -20 bangs from the back of the glove box. This stops, doesn't seem to affect its performance but, once I've stopped the car, after a while it happens again. Any clue...

Re: Steering feels terrible

Any chance the sway bars aren't connected correctly? Or that there is slop in the wheels? Maybe an inspection is in order.

Re: Add Bluetooth or new head unit

Since I may be replacing my Pioneer soon - check out the Atoto S8 line of double-DIN receivers on Amazon. I was waiting for the usual stuff on Crutchfield to come down in price but this looks like the way. Several threads on the XTerra and Frontier forums about it. Carplay, Android Auto, and camera...

So when you say boat steer, do you mean excessive leaning?

Re: Add Bluetooth or new head unit

I have been looking into a similar thing myself. I have a 2007 pathfinder s 4x4. No bose so I do not know the answer to your question, but I think the speakers would still work, but part of the bose system is the head unit. Steering wheel controls should be workable. It appears to require an extra m...

Maybe upload a picture of the alignment numbers you got to start with.

Also are your poly bushings offset?

Scanners Used With Pathfinder? xtool anyscan A30

Hi All, Does anyone have any experience with the xtool anyscan A30 wireless scan tool. I have a generic OBD II scanner and a Bluedriver that both basically do the same thing. They read trouble codes and thats about it. I should double check my generic one to see if it reads live data but the bluedri...
