Re: Replacing Stock Brakes All Around

Hi All, Does anyone know the specifications of the gaskets used for the banjo bolts on the brake calipers? I hate spending 1-2$ for a stupid gasket when i need 8 of them and could buy a bag of 50 for the same price if i had the specifications. Here is a link to the part that I am referencing. https:...

Replacing Stock Brakes All Around

Well this is mundane, but it is what it is. The brake upgrade kit for the front is about 1k alone (I don't feel like spending that much). But my front and rear brake pads are down to about 2mm. So, it looks like its time. Also, the parking brake is weak. The remedy. A brake job all around. So here i...

Re: new thread - 2001 LE V6 Suspension Refresh

1.Looks like you haven't gotten any feedback so here is some. The stock springs in the rear are weak and wear out because of it, lots of bump stop contact. I would get replacement springs that are aftermarket. Plenty of folks here like the moogs as a replacement. If you want stock height I would sug...

Re: Rear shocks for 2" lift

Glad its working out for you. DIY definitely will save some cash. My 2007 is going pretty well still. It needs some bushings and probably the coils replaced. Outside of that its running strong and rest free (except the battery tray). Honestly, I see no reason it won't make it to 20. I also see no re...

Re: Rear shocks for 2" lift

Odd. My kit came with the spacers and no springs for the back. When did you buy your kit? I bought mine about 2018 and I know the front struts have changed configuration since I bought the kit and wonder if they also went from spacers to springs in that time or if we have different kits? My lift wa...

Courtesy Parts Is No More - Unknown If They Will Return

Hi All, Just an FYI. I just got off the phone with a parts person at courtesy Nissan. Their website is down. Apparently has been for about a month and the folks that were supposed to maintain it are MIA. It unknown whether they will be coming back with an internet presence for parts orders. Their sh...

Re: Rear Differential Bushings Torn

Well it appears that others have not yet encountered this issue. I will post progress and information here for future reference by others. As this is in progress that info may be wrong. Looks like the removal of the bushings will require the differential to be removed first. (it may be possible to d...

Rear Differential Bushings Torn

Hi All, The two differential bushings that are just behind the rear diff are all torn up. So they obviously need to be replaced. The question is, how painful of a job is this to do and what else should be replaced at the same time? Bonus if you know which section of the service manual shows the full...

Looks good. I have rock sliders I need to install also. It's been almost a year now.
Good luck to you. Please post the results when it happens.

Re: Sylvania Head Light Restoration Kit

Yeah, I need to get some appropriate clear coat (I have some clear coat actually, ... maybe that would work i have to check). But i did the headlights without the clear code. They looks like 80% maybe 90% on a good date. And then the sun got to them again in about a year so its back on the to do list.

Re: Thinga-Ma-Jigger Update

Well, ONLY about a year and a half later I finally installed the rock sliders. Install was a bit awkward, but not super hard. I would say get a right angle drill or impact driver adapter and get some drill bits that fit in that adapter. So much easier then because you can get the sliders into positi...

If you had a skinny hose and a pump or bravery (human suction) you could probably pull some out of the dipstick tube.
