Yes. Just bring your registration, they'll need the VIN. They can pull up a key-cut code from that and make you a key.
Thanks. Used GEICO in the end. First time in my life I’d ever locked myself out of a vehicle. Best go get another key made.

Locked keys inside vehicle.

I was detailing my 2009 PF and obviously pressed the driver door lock button where the power window switches are and now can’t get into my vehicle. Can i take my paper work proof of ownership to Nissan dealer and get a dumb key cut so that I can at least use it open the driver side door to gain acce...

I second the OEM Pathfinder springs being worn out. The truck should sit level or little forward rake ( aslong as the fronts are good).
So front fender height shouldn’t be more than the rear ?

Re: Ride height stock suspension

What year and how many miles? In my relatively minimal experience with these R51s I'd say no. Sleepy rear springs are pretty common it seems. A fresh pair of MOOG springs, spring rubbers, and KYB shocks and mine sits level. Note, after installing those springs it did look a little tall for a week o...

Ride height stock suspension

Is the front axle suspension supposed to sit a little higher than the rear ?

Re: Shifting out of Park

I am not sure if my issue is the same as yours, on my vehicle sometime shifting into D is difficult. It go but with a thunk clunk noise, I attributed this to the parking emergency brakes not currently working at all on my pathfinder. Sounds more like a bum engine or transmission mount. 'If I depres...

That sounds like the radiator is okay. The engineers pretty much always locate the sensor at the hottest part of the engine, which isn't always the 'stat housing. So 200F at the outlet doesn't mean the sensor is lying. I'd say it's looking like a dying 'stat, try that first.
Will do thanks.

Re: Electric radiator fan stuck on high speed mode

Worked fine, made a weird mechanical grinding noise from behind the unit whilst test was performed. Grinding in the cluster isn't normal either. Boy, this truck of yours has some weird a$$ issues. Logged some more temp values using the logger. Top hose 200F bottom hose 130F approx When driv...

Re: Electric radiator fan stuck on high speed mode

In regards to the temp needle sticking. I tried running the Nissan cluster guage test method by turning ignition to on but engine off. Then pressing the trip button 3 times. I couldn’t get that to work. Is it the same method for the R51? No, it's a different procedure on the R51. See MWI-23 here: h...

Re: Electric radiator fan stuck on high speed mode

I just checked my lower radiator hose the one that connects to the thermostat at cold temperatures. When I gently squeeze it I hear the usual radiator neck water gushing noise but I also hear a ticking like metal type noise from I think the engine side where the thermostat is. A faint light ticking ...

Re: Headlights and parking lights not showing on cluster gauge

I don't know of any Nissan that indicates the Parking Lights are on. The R51 only has a High Beam indicator, no discrete headlight indicator. Newer models generally do have one (including the R52), but on most older models you need to look at the backlights in other switches or instruments to tell ...

Re: Which part do I need reference heater coolant lines failure.

Yah, that looks like it will eventually chafe. I think I'd throw some self-stick foam underneath it if you can't tie it back. And then back to square one again with a tow truck lol. Can I use one of those anti chafe wraps around it ? Forgot what the name of it was now. Your high temp foam tape idea...

The Amazon one should work fine. Im running an ebay version exactly like that and still holding 4 years.
I also have V6 Rear Air
Can you do me a favor and look at the black rubber hose leaving the heating component of the hose assembly please. Mine seems to be resting on the valve cover.
