Re: Best rear lift spring 2023

Hey everyone, as I already mentioned I went with the MOOG 81085 Armada rear springs as these where supposed to be the thickest springs on the market. The Ride The Springs ride way better than the Ironman 4x4s even when they where new. The Moogs ride like stiffer OEM ones but with better load carryin...

Re: Best rear lift spring 2023

Thank you for your replies guys! I decided to go with the MOOG 81085 springs. As the Moogs are supposedly the hardest springs with lifts of roughly 3“ Doping on how much the will settle I`ll see if I need to replace bushings with eccentric ones like Code Pathfinder did. I really wanted to go the 2“ ...

Re: Hesitation

MAF would be my first part to check, cleaning might not be enough. Do yourself a favour and get the original OEM Nissan Sensors. Even if the sensors of known brands do fit, they might sit in an complete plastic housing instead of just a half plastic one. So it happend to be with a Hella Crankshaft s...

Best rear lift spring 2023

Hey everyone, I´m browsing this great base of knowledge for a long time now. Many users have posted their suspension setups over the years. As the Pathfinder fansebase is getting smaller but more dense, I thought it might pose a common question again, on the base of current experiences of users. Wha...

Re: Rear Bump Stop Options?

Thank you for your input. Would one be able to weld a little plate around the new drill point to compensate for the weakening? Of course it´s a major step up in work involved, depends of how important the bump stop option is for you. Only other option I see in terms of advanced bump stops, are the a...

Re: Rear End Feels Unstable

Hmm I´m more on the higher speed side. Reason why I did search a long time for 2.5 rear shocks, even ordered customs ones via CJD Racing, luckily order got cancled by Radflo. Later I figured out they wouldn´t fit in factory position. Unfortunately Z1 didn´t offer custom valving for the rear Ra...

Re: Rear End Feels Unstable

Nice to hear from you! Did not have much hope to hear from you here again. Definitely sounds like you may need to swap out the rear springs for their newer green ones. I've heard nothing, but good things about the new Ironman suspension. Won´t go with Ironman again, even I´ve only heard good things ...

Re: R51 From Germany

I very nearly decided to gift my XTerra before I shipped it back yo the US, to a family member over there. But he is not a car guy. I believe in Germany an Xterra or a R51 would be something special, yet he would not have fully appreciated it I think. And to top it off, he lives in Berlin and not i...

Re: R51 From Germany

Hi Fred, dein Deutsch ist aber auch sehr gut! Wobei ich nicht beurteilen kann ob es maschinell erstellt worden ist. Stuttgart is the greatest paradoxon in this whole discussion as it is the most microparticel polluted city in Germany. Basically the City where the whole madness started. Didn´t the ol...

Re: Rear End Feels Unstable

@silverarrow27 Where you able to figure anything out in the past year? :D I do run Ironman Springs in the back and changed the Ironman Foam Cell Shocks to ext. Radflos with res. Since then the rear end feels waaaay too mushy, soft and something seems to bind or bottom out there when driving over spe...

R51 From Germany

Hi everyone, I´m really glad that, after several attempts to register here, my inner crimal came up with the idea to use an VPN to pass that european IP obstacle. Anyway.... My Name is Thilo, 32, from Germany. I´m driving a 2011 R51 Nissan Pathfinder LE with the YDD25 2.5l Diesel Engine. Due to our ...
