Re: The ever popular "rear alignment" issue

Here is a picture of some of the gusset work to increase adjustability to accommodate a lift. On the diagram, the spot marked 'IMPORTANT' is to show where adjustability was increased to be able to adjust out the positive camber on the rear wheels, to neutral or negative. I know an old thread but we...

Re: Are there "Tuners" available to us?

That looks pretty clean. What all did you have to do in order to get the box and tube to fit? Also, I see you went with the LS throttle body upgrade. Any issues with cold starting? I have heard some experience hesitation after the upgrade with getting the engine to initially fire during cold starti...

Re: Are there "Tuners" available to us?

That's how mine was done. UpRev doesn't support out of country tuning, so being in Canada their included tunes didn't count and I had to pay the tuner $200USD directly for the service. An unexpected extra cost, but I was already down that rabbit hole so I had no choice.

R8 Ignition coils, GM/LS 90mm throttle body, JBA long tube headers, a Z1/Titan Nismo hybrid CAI and a custom 3" catless catback.

Re: Are there "Tuners" available to us?

I have an UpRev on my V8. I've seen the dyno on the V6 (Xterra) and gives about 20hp and 50tq gain? I suggested UpRev and got reamed out. Everyone seems horny for the VF Tuner tuner. They just released one for the 3.8 and apparently working on one for the 4.0L.

Re: ‘05 Pathfinder on youtube

It's a curse and a blessing that the book value of these vehicles are crap which leaves us lots of options to pick parts from for our own. I have noticed in the last year that there has been like a 50-75% jump in interest for the R51s I think due to the value of these vehicles and people just knowi...

Re: Removing rear sub (factory Bose system)

I did a radio replacement on my 08 this year and just to get Android Auto and my music streaming is a great feeling but the factory Bose system woke up nicely. I find this very common that changing out the factory radio makes a big improvement in sound quality, but there`s a limit. There`s only so m...

Re: ***List of upgrade for max HP from V8 LE***

If there's one drawback to the V8 R51, it's that the rarity means minimal aftermarket support. Practically nothing available at popular shops like Z1 Offroad and the like There isn't too much that is that special for the V8. It's usually either parts from the Titan/Armada or the V6 truck. Some thin...

Re: V8

It was done back in 2016 and had 146k Kms on it. I bought it with 230K so figured if there was any issues, it would of failed long ago. She's just passed 270K kms, which would be 167K miles.

Re: Downsize - Armada to Pathfinder

How do you find the difference in power? Going from a large with a V8 to smaller with a V6?

Ex Xterra Owner, New R51 (V8) Owner

I've been around the Nissan truck community for a while with friends driving a variety of trucks. I bought my 2003 Supercharged 5-Speed Xterra back in 2008 following a failed deal for an R50. I drove that truck until 2021 when I retired it for a rusting frame. I wanted to find another one to transfe...

Re: V8

My 2008 V8 is a SMOD truck. I have the service records from Nissan themselves that the tranmission and radiator were changed at around 140K kms. I bought the truck with 230K 3 years ago and she`s currently at 270K kms.
