Does anyone know how many quarts of ATF I should expect to replace during simple drain and fill. it looks like the tranny takes more than 10 qts of fluid, but during drain and fill not nearly everything will come out. Measuring what has been drained is my solution to figure out hown much needs to go...

Sounds like it needs to be re-aligned. Take it in and have it looked at.

Mine is doing it too. I cleaned up whatever rust I could find and applies rust inhibitor to all the areas where primer was exposed and especially where the rust was showing. Once it dried up I applied a nice coat of touch-up paint along the existing cracks. I will check again in the summer. Being up...

European model (manufactured in Spain), but not sure in what country and what trim this particular Path is offered. Clear lights and headlight washers are giveaways of its european origins. Can't say much about the winch...

I doubt that you will notice much difference in terms of MPG due to weight. Perhaps the front end will become less aerodynamic on the highway with one of these things, but I can't tell much difference in terms of MPGs.

Glad you're ok. What happened? Did you tap someone in the back or something? Bags OK?

Well, known issue. My local Nissan service advisor has also admitted that they have worked on several Pathfinders with busted rads and mixed fluids in the tranny. The funny thing is that even if it happens before 60K, they will replace the failed part (radiator), the rest of the parts that get damag...

Looking to install PRG kit in Boston area - good shops?

I'm thinking of buying a 2" PRG Mini Lift Kit and looking for a shop to install it for me in Boston area. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Captain, Im curious to know about this as well. I have Garmin 250 and was thinking of getting this docking station, but it seems that these units are using different power plugs. I think its still possible to use the docking station after some alterations, but wanted to hear your feedback if you got...

Being monuted this low, any issues with looking down at it? Especially in steady traffic and during split-second decision situations, where quick, often glances are required?

Seems like u-joints seem to be a popular part to replace. What are the signs of these going bad - vibration?

When it comes to tranny fluid, mine is bright red on the measuring stick and on the paper towel, but when doing this mod I looked at the stuff that drained in the cup and its dark red. No funny smells or any other contamination. Is normal or is it a sign that it is getting dirty?

Tech, say when doing simple drain and fill, is there a recommended amount of oil they put in at the dealer or do they actually fill and measure as they go? Say if i took the car in for a tranny drain and fill (no flush) and since I have the radiator cooler bypassed (hence less fluid in the system) -...

I bypassed the radiator oil cooler as well today. Very easy indeed. I ended up looping the shorter hose back in the system and used the longer one to connect and close both openings on the bottom of the rad. I did not loose much from the system but only managed to drain about half a cup from the coo...
