How you guys deal with topping the fluid off after installing external coolers? How do you know how much to add to get the right level? When replacing fluid completely, its easier to measure the drained fluid and pour in the same quantity of the new fluid. How about topping it off when it comes to a...

Take is to Autozone or any major car parts retailer and ask them to read the check engine light codes. Once you have the codes, post them here so people have better idea on what to tell you regarding possible causes for this malfunction.

macbell7, what have you decided on, this set up or PRG mini lift? I'm wondering what would be the pros and cont of each kit? PRG is a little cheaper, but this one seems to be more functional.

Has anyone done this mod while still under factory warranty? Im curious if they will deny warranty repairs for cooling or tranny related issues if this has been done while the truck is still under warranty. Also, what year/production dates are the most vulnerable to this problem?

Good luck, Kev1n. I'm sure you will be happier once it looks nice and black again. Does that stuff come in a spray version? I think rolling around under the truck trying to reach all the spots with a brush will be lots of work, but at least you will get a thicker coat on it. Spray is easier to apply...

What parts have you replaced so far?

I'm curious to know what things have broken on your Pathfinder and at what mileage it has occured? What about wear and tear items? How long did they last? My 06 has 42K and it had the follwing parts replaced: 1. Fuel sender unit replaced per warranty at 25K 2. Original tires were pretty worn out and...

I also live in NE and have been noticing the same effects of all the salt on the roads. While it may not hurt anything aside from cosmetic standpoint, i find it a bit annoying. While sanding and priming as well as spending time and money to get rid of minor rust is not something I'm willing to do (f...

It is located on the left side on the engine (facing it) and is bolted down by 10mm bolt. To measure the fluid level, re-insert the dipstick with mounting bracket facing away from its mounting position and push it in further down. Look up all the details here: http://www.thenissanpath.com/filelib/R5...

That is what I heard from the Infinity dealership when I asked them to move the TPMS from one set of wheels to another. They can not guarantee that they wont break them, but if done carefully there should be no problems. Go with a reputable place when swapping over and there will be less chances of ...

Thanks for your help guys! I checked everytjing and all looks good. By the way, I just realized that to check the tranny fluid level correctly you got to turn the dipstick cap the opposite directiionn from its mounting plate and push it in all the way. I was measuring on the plate and could not figu...

What is the normal color of transmission fluid again? Is it yellow/light brown or red? Also, how to properly check the tranny fluid level - with the car warmed up and running with the gear selector in N?

Any of you guys doing this mod while still under factory warranty? Being this easy, Im really tempted to do this mod for preventive purposes but I have extended warranty until 100K and messing with this tranny cooler may result in a dealer denying warranty repairs if I ever take it in for other cool...

Thanks for the heads up! I remember looking at the diagram thinking - why would I bother with the power antenna set up, but now it explains my poor radio reception. Its fine in town, but once you get further out it does not receve the signal as well as factory unit used to be. Gotta open it up again...
