Quick update... After looking around on Frontier forums it became apparent that this issue is not that uncommon. I picked up a pair of Moog end-links (a little beefier than OEM stuff) and installed them - so far the problem has not manifester it self. I tried duplicating all the conditions when the ...

Both Wagner and Raybestos are reputable brands. But both brands have economy, premium and Heavy duty options. I guess it comes down to what you need to get our of your brakes. If you are trying to get most miles, Raybestos Heavy Duty rotors are a good choice - they are often used on fleet vehicles, ...

Carl, I had Toyos Open Country A/T on my 06 Xterra anf then on 06 Pathfinder and found them to be a nice all-around tires, but a bit noisy on the highway. If you don't mind your tires hum, thyen go fo it. BFG A/T is probably not much quieter either from the looks of the thread. Keep us posted with p...

This is ABS check. Perfectly normal. It happens every time you start you car and start moving and reach 15MPH. It will not happen until you shut it off and start driving again. Don't worry about it and let the truck do its thing. :)

My 2010 se does the same thing when shifting. 2011 silver I rented recently was the same way. This is the way they programmed these transmissions for better fuel economy and this shift pattern is normal. My 06 se was better - it never upshifted like this, but it was also worse on gas. Just work the ...

Yep, you have to take care not to mess up the balance of the drive shaft when replacing the u-joints. If done properly, it stays perfectly balanced after the repair, if not, you have to remove the shaft and re-balance it with new weights, etc. I had to deal with the same issue on my 06 back in the d...

It was not bad at all. Took me 30 minutes. It bolts up to a flange on one end, once you remove the bolts there, the other side just slides out. The worst thing was paying $350 for the whole shaft...

Spamcan, I had same issues with my last Path (06 model). Dealership replaced worn ujoints and I ended up having slightly different vibration. It's almost like the driveshaft was not balanced anymoe after they installed it back after replacing the ujoints. I bought anothe driveshaft as one piece (the...

This issue was there all along. Replacing the sway bar bushings made the low speed clunking when turning go away. High speed resonance/vibration (happens very briefly when hitting pot holes on the highway is still there. I'm wondering if its curable. Dealership can not find anything wrong.

Sway bar links - anyone replaced these yet?

Has anyone replaced their sway bar end links yet? If so, what mileage was this done at? What were the symptoms? I have been inspecting my front suspension trying to resolve a few problems. Minor occasional clunk is almost gone with new sway bar bushings, but I still get some noises that I can't pin ...

derrmjd, Thank you very much for taking time to reply and posting pictures. I took it in today for an oil change and asked them to check out sway bar bushings. Guy comes back and says he can't find a problem and that my old busings look ok. I went to the part counter asked them to pull the busings a...
