I am approaching 100K and have not had this problem either but because of this forum I read about it and just in case I did the bypass. Other Pathy owners that are not on line or on forums would never know this thus they would be angry about the tranny failure...I WOULD!
Just in case I recently did the bypass. I really don't care if dealers have deep pockets (Doesn't Toyota too?, look at them now) and if Nissan is found to have a defect or quality issue with the radiator they should be liable and recall it for replacement. As far as the issue of contaminating the tr...
This is great news!! my 05 fuel gauge just crapped out on me a month or so ago. My manufactured date is September 05 and by readind the posted link it calls for Pathfinders manufactured between "January and March 2006" and October 2007 and Jan 08....WTF? I hope they mean January 05 to Marc...
hey guys. these forums have saved me time and money. i've had the IPDM fail on me and replaced it and also did the radiator tranny fluid bypass and so far so good. however i have another issue that i cannot seem to find using search. sometimes when I hit full throttle, there will be a hard thump an...
Just buy a refill (Trico) any size for like $2 or $3.... remove the original refill, cut the trico to the exact lenght and refill it.
Looks and wipes like new for CHEAP
Mine started whining at around 65K . I am at 90K now and it has not worsen or should I say the whining has not gotten louder. Just wondering if the problem doesn't get fixed will it cause catastrophic failure? and what exactly will happen.

The way it worked is when you shut the car off and it is not restarted within a pre-determined amount of minutes the element inside the MAF will heat up to a high degree temperature and thus burning up any dus...
That sucks! i do know the 05's did not have such feature so probably could be disabled in the newer models. In order for the windows to roll down you must press and hold it for like 3-5 seconds. My 06 Quest has this feauture and I like it; down here in the hot summer months I just roll them when app...
Guys remember the posted pic. above is of a Frontier, the Pathy has a single sepentine belt. The angle of that pic. appears to make it look close; no idea on the Pathy as I have yet to tackle the deletion.

I do! 90,000 miles and still going on original stock pads. There's probably a 1/4 pad life left and more likely I will hit 100K miles before the will require replacemnet. Highway driving is why the have lasted so long.
Update: I went ahead and purchased a new one last week, big difference when cranking!! the originlal was weak after 4 years of use. I can put back in the garage the jumper cables, lol
