smart key remote

Saw this on e-bay, claims to work on 05-11 Path's. I one had a Nissan Versa as a loaner and liked this no key required smart remote; now how would that fit on like my 05. Anyone has or seen http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-2011-Nissan-Pathfinder-Smart-Key-Remote-OEM-NEW-/150500399982?pt=Motors_Ca...

Dont waste your money! I buy a generic refill. Remove old one, cut to same lenght, re-insert newly cut and it's good to go. Paid a couple dollars for the refill and I got 2 replacements out of it. :D

I can only think of adding a in line fuel filter to help prevent dirty fuel from entering your system. I just would not know where to begin in recomending one for the Path and if it is recomended to do so.

by far this Pathy has been the most reliable vehicle I've owned. I am so glad I never paid for a extended warranty nor have I spent a dime with the Nissan dealer since I bought it "new" aside from oil changes. Here's my history as I posted in a thread a while back . "Bought my 2005 &q...

I shouldn't have to fill that form. I have recieved "other" recall notifications without doing so. The IPDM I have not, why? is a mystery, maybe it will come in another month or so. :o

You do not need to drain the oil. Disconnect the sensor and remove the sensor. Remove old liquid gasket adhering to oil preasure sensor and engine; apply liquid gasket and tighten to 11 foot pounds. Use genuine RTV Silicone sealant or equivalent (Permatex ultra grey 82194 or Nissan RTV999MP-A7007) A...

Can anyone tell me if a formal recall letter notice has been sent to owners? I have yet to see one myself :?:

Anyone experienced the same thing? Twinblown, I noticed you saw the same issue when you did your plugs back in April. Any chance you can check your culprit tube again to see if oil is leaking or not? t I have not looked in there in a while, I did after the first 500 miles and did not see any, it wa...

Are the plugs you bought PLATINUM? Also have you clenaed your Throtle body?
The MPG change is most likely because of the battery disconnect and will take a few full tanks of fuel usage to return back to your average MPG ..give it soem time. :D
