Had same thing happen to our 05, turns out it was the front drive shaft Ujoint on the front diff. It got progressively worse. Took it apart and it was all hollowed out. Bought part at nissan 45$ tech there put it in for me there on his own time for 25$, rides as smooth as silk now.

Yea it sounds like its coming from the center of the vehicle which would be ujoint area. I will have to get under it.

Had tranny and rad replaced last month, started noticing this week when coming down to a stop I can hear something like clicking or tapping under the vehicle but stops when stopped, cant hear it under acceleration but there is a slight vibration at higher speeds. Got pathfinder back and wow what a difference! We had been driving it broke like this since 64k miles and it now has 76k on it. 80K miles and 84 months is the warranty extension.

Like to get one of those Aussie nissans up here in the states. Everything up here is lowest bidder wins the contract which equals junk in most cases.

Sorry to hear that. Mine is in the shop at present for the new tranny and rad, I am under 80k so nissan is paying for it.

I most likely will not buy another nissan again after all the recalls and problems with these vehicles.

What is the "shuddering" you mentioned? My 06 shudders randomly when I'm sitting at a light, in gear, with my foot on the brake.

Now that is a different shudder that I have too and the dealer said it was normal for all Pathy's and Titans. To me it seems a bit rough though.

Did you take it to the dealer? I took mine to the dealer for it doing the shuddering at 40mph and they told me it was a sensor that is on the transmission shifter that is about $500.
