definately an air bubble in the system. Someone on the post above made recommendation on how to top up properly letting air out. once you do that the heater will be heating properly at idle. I had to top up again because i let some fluid by removing the bottle. now everything works fine.

weird. it seems that loosing coolant is a common problem and most of the people here are low on colant but have no leaks anywhere in the system. I had the same and topped the fluid recently. But still, where does the coolant go? any ideas? I checked the the leaks in every gasket possible, checked al...

those are just holes for the reflectors. I guess for europe they have to have aux reflectors. looks ugly by the way. underneath the bumper is the same basically. so for installation of the rack you would have to drill holes in those locations.

Gibson makes system for pathy. I think I've seen sound files on the internet with that system installed. Very nice sound. not that expensive too.

my vq is not failing on me right now but with the quality of fuel and lubricants here and the way I drive I think it will start giving me trouble some time soon. so by the time it will start I will have all the things ready for an upgrade. :)

It sounds like your Path was made in Spain. :) fuel sensor is common for the trucks made there. I had no issues with mine so far. and mine was made in US. U joints are also common problem but replacing them is cheap. I got heavier duty joints from rockauto.com and forgot about them :)

Re: Manual Pathfinder

I am not sure about bottom end. I mean I have not seen any stats on what would be the torque. I assume it will be significant as I experienced with my 200SX. I think it will be testing and learning process. My hopes are that the VQ series is usually a very good engine and the crank will hold up to t...

i have it in auto and don't have sensitivity adjastibility. it works great. I completely forgot now that I have to turn the lights on or off. Sometimes however in the morning th lights turn off and on erratically but most of the time the lights come when I would turn them on and they go off when I w...

I've read about supercharger. It seems to me that the price is waaaay to high for the output it offers. For that sort of budget I can achieve around 500-600 hp easily at wheels. Plus with the sound profing (or lack there of) in the Pathy the whining noise of the supercharger will be pain. :) Plus I ...

Hello there, does anyone know was there ever a Pathfinder on manual transmission with 4 liter gas engine? I know that there are frontiers with 6speed manual. I was wondering if the gearbox off the Frontier will fir Pathfinder? The reason I am asking about as I have a project in my mind to make a tur...

most probably low on coolant. if the level seems to be ok, there's air in the system. I had the same issue about a month ago. Added about half a liter of coolant. now it becomes Africa inside in about 10-15 minutes at idle at -10 celcius outside temperature. :) I am loving the heater in the Pathy.

I really don't get it why would one NOT want to have TPMS ? This system saved me couple of time on mountain trails with around 100 mile to the nearest tire fixing joint. I had a puncture in two tires and fixed them on car with a rubber wire. Pumped the tires with compressor and went further. Without...

My assumption is that the inside temperature sensor is malfunctioning as the climate control depends on that sensor or several of them. check if they are operational. also they may by blocked by some accessory you may have installed. I am not sure where those sensors are in R51. I notced similar beh...
