yeah I too generally get right around 20 mpg on trips.
I have driven this thing from Nashville TN to L.A., Chigago, Atlanta, Tulsa, and Indianapolis all on separate occasions and I have always got about 20-22 mpg on 93 octane

The 4.0L that is in the Pathfinder is a Dual over head cam engine. meaning that it has 24 valves, also meaning that there is more air and gas comming in and out of that engine as opposed to the standard push rod or SOHC engines. you need to black out the head lights,
I bought a film kit on ebay that worked pretty well for really cheap, I think that would help the front to not look so akward
