Anybody going the Roof Top Tent route on your Pathfinders?

I haven't been here to the forums in eons, very happy to see it continuing along and doing well. Recently put a Roofnest Falcon on my XC60 so thought I'd stop by and share our review, hope some of your R51 folks are still off-roading it out there 8) Click the Pic for the YouTube linky: https://f002....

Okay, even _I_ thought that was a bit cheesy... A few days later I found a better stocked auto-parts store, picked up some 5/16th end caps and hose clamps, plus a nice solid brass 5/16ths male-male connector (in the air compressor tools section, it's an 'air hose repair' item): http://i.imgur.com/ce...

2008 V8 Radiator Bypass Done.

A picture is worth 1000 words, so here we go: http://i.imgur.com/r8VAsFH.jpg All I needed was a 5/16" hose connector and a couple 1/4" caps that forced onto the old radiator nipples nice and snug. Also I took the time to undo all the hose clamps and rotate the molded hoses into a nice path...

Yo! 10K miles since my last post, and on the OEM setup the stock filter is still just at 11 inches of water in spite of visually looking somewhat dirty (I think the official change interval is like 30K miles? I'd believe it, though putting a minder on it would be the properly geeky thing to do). Wit...

I don't think anybody has seriously looked at it because before now we were all praying it wouldn't happen. The process and locations will be the same, it's just that the serendipitously perfect OEM hose lengths that made the V6 bypass so easy may not be possible, in which case you'll just need some...

My understanding is that it's a design flaw of some sort, not sure if it's mechanical or a metal/corrosion compatibility problem, but it sure shouldn't happen. There appears to be a new replacement part number, so instead of aftermarket another option is get the new OEM part. We've all speculated th...
