I went for the Husky liner, nice strong and durable, I've carried some mildly crazy stuff on it without undue damage (an engine block for instance  ). They've got behind the 2nd row and behind the 3rd row, but no sorry, nothing that goes all the way up behind the front seats. http://www.autose...

Yeah, not many people with the old Path on here yet. My brother used to have one like yours, a 4 door XE, wonderful truck. My best suggestion for your problem is to dig through the service manual, see if you can divine an answer from in there...

I did some googling and can only find two other instances of front Pathfinder diff failures. One was clearly from a hit on a rock or something, the other probably a defect as it happened when on-road. Can you please provide me some URLs to other Path/XTerra/Frontier front diff failures?

?!?!?! Yeah, looks like nothing special, no doubt. Were you in 4-lo at the time? How did it fail?

I am so jealous of your motor! What are the specs on it?

We're finally getting clean ULSD fuel on this side of the pond at the end of the year, so hopefully we'll get to see Nissan's fine Diesel engines soon.

As far as I know, the OEM Nissan plugs are platnum NGK, and since each plug has it's own coil pack there are not any real spark plug wires to try and upgrade either. You got the good stuff with this motor out of the box, enjoy it :D

The front wheel arch gap almost looks bigger than the rear in that side shot, true? Did you have some cargo in the back? Looks very mean, good stuff! :)

Well, since you're in SoCal, I would aim for Joshua Tree and Death Valley and adjacent BLM territories. I've had great fun exploring around those old desert mining ghost towns and such... There's also specific off-road parks, the closest one up here is Hollister Hills. I've never been, but it's on t...

That trail is "Old Coast Road", about 30-45 minutes south of Monterey on Hwy 1. It's kinda hard to describe how to find, but here's a good Google map that should show the way. It starts just on the north side of a big bridge , and then continues for about 7 miles before dumping back out o...

I would think an AC core freezup wouldn't only effect a pair of the dash vents and not the others. I sounds to me much more like whatever mixing/airflow doors that control flow to the center console vents isn't functioning properly. Should be easy for the dealer to diagnose *IF* you can get it to th...
