The wheels that came stock with 31/10.50/15 were 15x7. They are the wheels that a lot of people refer to as the lego wheels. That size tire on a 15x5.5 wheel would probably be way too wide. I just put a 3 inch body lift on my 94 and have 33/12.50/15 on the stock legos. With just having that and everything else stock, all it rubs is the factory mud flaps and that's just when making a sharp turn.

It might look somewhat funny with 15x10 inch wheels running only a 31/10.50. I put 33/12.50/15 on my 15x7 stock legos and they fit great, so I would imagine you wouldn't want to go any wider than 15x8 unless you plan on going wider than a 12.50 tire.
