thanks everyone for replying and your input. yes, the part number is correct. I'm thinking that these newer hitch assemblies are slightly different than the ones that came with our Pathfinders when new. it would appear that the pin hole is too close to the frame, making it hard to use certain types ...

There are a couple of TSB's for creaking and/or popping noises in early R51's. One has the front diff hitting agains the crossmember and instructs to adjust it so it won't contact it. The other TSB instructs to replace the front sway bar mount bushings with updated parts. if TSB's explains these is...

It totally slipped my mind, but I did have a similar issue on my 05. The suspension links were squeaking/creaking when I turned the wheel and hit a bump at the same time. Not sure if thats what you are seeing. only when you turn and hit a bump? could be similar. what and how did you fix it? mine is...

What does the fluid smell like? There is a diff vent hose that comes up from the front diff up to the CAI box. Once in a while, depending on your driving conditions, i.e. heat/altitude/towing, pressure builds up in the diff housing and escapes through the vent tube. Happened to me a few times offro...
