my motor blew yesterday and i was wondering if i could bolt a 2.4 in the place of my 3.0 if it will bolt to my tranny and if not what is the difference in the transmissions ?

got an 88 pathy automatic 3.0 has anybody put a body lifty on an automatic if so what has to be modified trying to lift it cheap as possible ..

no have you looked at many of the post on here maybe one or two replies on most this site is not much help the s10 v8 site i'm on you get all kinds of help ..

oh ok yours is a carburetor mine is 3.0 throttle body and auto if the trans would shift with a carb i would be looking for a carb intake and carb in a flat minute ..

its an 88 and look under the passenger seat and you will find yours

how in the world do you reset the computer in these damn things i've unhooked the battery and it will not reset .

i got all that fixed finally it runs good has a valve tap (i think) and the exhaust manifold gaskets have a couple leaks but other than that it runs pretty darn good !!!

i got it from my cousin not running right . we can't seem to figure it out . it will start and run if you keep patting the throttle but then it will start dumping fuel into the throttle body and foul the plugs . we are gonna change the timing belt and we got it all tore down and the driver cam is on...

i got an 88 pathfinder v6 no pics yet but got it super good deal but it doesn't run right .
