Check engine light did come on and I was over the mileage for the TSB.
I checked with both local Nissan dealers in my area...one quoted $485 installed and the other quoted $375.
Wound up ordering the part online and having my local mechanic install it....$200 total.

Thanks all for the info!

Same thing happened on my 08. There is a recall for it. I just had it fixed this week. Take it to the dealer...should be no charge!
I tried the manual reset steps that I found online, didn't work. It is apparently a sensor that needs replaced.

Thanks Fixer...just came across the recall threads after posting. Seems like most fuel issues were with the 2005 model year based on the threads I read so wasn't sure if it went beyond that or not.
Will give the dealer a call to find out.

Cheers

Fuel Gauge Issues?

Noticed lately that the fuel gauge is acting wonky. 2008 S 4x4 with 140,000kms. Gauge reads empty, fill up the tank but the gauge sometimes takes a couple of hours before it reads full. Again, this only happens sometimes and I can't put a finger on any oddities when it does happen. The weather (ie. ...

Bilstein Part Numbers - sanity check required

Looking to clarify what part numbers people have actually installed. Not looking to lift just replace the OEM and level things out nicely. I know there are tons of threads regarding correct part numbers but the more of them I read I come across different part numbers in each thread. I checked both t...

Tried doing this tonight and got 2 bolts out without any issues. The remaining 4 got half way out and stopped cranking. Put some WD40 on them and will let them sit overnight to see if that helps. Anyone else have any issues removing the bolts? I assume the bolts are just dirty from the undercarriage...

Anyone have any experience with either of these kits? https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/deluxe-suspension-package-p-5842.html OR https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/deluxe-suspension-package-p-5843.html Seems like a relatively affordable way of replacing the shocks and getting 2" of lift. Just wonder...

Thanks guys. I've had the AirLift bags in for a couple years now and really noticed the difference. Well worth the money spent.
I'm now due for shocks (100k on the odo) and tempted to do a 2" lift at the same time. If I'm tearing things apart anyways....why not?

Question for the folks that have already switched to Blisteins....did you keep your AirLift bags installed as well or do the new shocks resolve all rear sag problems?

I noticed you just put in the Stillen....any chance you jostled something while putting it in? It's been awhile since I've had a look under the hood but isn't there a fuse panel near the intake? Seems kinda odd that your iPod connection and wiper warning light all stopped working around the same tim...

Same thing just started happening to my 08 as well...currently at 85k.
I only notice it at idle though.

I'll get them to check the chain guide during the next service. Thanks for the info!

Nothing has spilled into the switches (to my knowledge) and it works fine from the passenger side.

I'll pop the switch cover off and take a look at the connectors to make sure everything looks good before asking the dealer.

Thanks all!
