re:D3COY

Re: D3COY:

Maybe a little respect for those who are not self proclaimed mechanics like yourself ?

It could be any number of things including the fuel pump. Could be a clogged cat, dirty injectors, o2 sensor or other mechanical problem.

mderick : front end shake

Hey Mderick, You mention front end shake, was it just a slight vibration in the steering wheel? I have a slight shake in the steering wheel now, the tires were just re-balanced..... not exactly sure what is causing it. I suppose the next step is alignment and then maybe look at struts / springs as y...

A/C problem

I have the same problem with my 04. A/C only comes on at 18 degrees setting and anything higher (even 18.5) it starts blowing warm air. If you look at the top of this forum (when you click for the R50 Pathfinder) there will be service manuals. These are Nissan manuals and helped me out a ton !!! Any...

Pathfinder Tires

I have had LTX M/S on my Pathfinder for 2 years now and am very happy with them. They wear well, handle well in virtually all conditions and are an all around great tire. Picked them up at Costco for less than $900 installed with the coupon. Michelin has specials at Costco frequently. Another good S...

*Wanted* - - Rear spoiler

Anyone know where I can get a rear spoiler for an 04 Pathfinder. Nissan stopped making them in 2004 and to my knowledge no aftermarket products have been developed. I am looking for the rear window spoiler that curves on the ends (not the flat ones like the early to mid 90's model. I think the curve...

MP3 player

Have you considered going to an electronics store to purchase a trip tuner ? They plug into your cigarette lighter and you simply tune to an unclear radio station and tune the tuner the same. Plug the wire from the tuner in to your earphone out for your MP3 player and viola, music.... About $25-$35

In cabin filter

I had the same issue with my 2004 LE I read in the manual that I was due to have it replaced and after taking everything apart could not find where the old one was. Turned out that it never had one to begin with. Anyhow I cut away the plastic but the filter I was sold (Fram) wouldn't fit so I ended ...

AC only works on coolest setting

Hi, 2004 Pathfinder LE with digital heater / ac control unit. About 2 months ago the AC would only work if I had the unit set to the coldest setting (18degrees). Once I turned the dial to the next setting (0.5 of a degree) it would heat up substantially (felt like 5-10 degrees). I have tried all fan...
