I'm betting it has something to do with weight on the seat. Mine has a light that says passenger AB disabled if I just have my camera bag on seat, but with a passenger, I don't get it. Most likely sensor in seat cushion & back rest. The junk yard seat might be an alternative...as it doesn't seem...

Temp... like for a parade? You could mount them on a piece of Alum angle ($4), the wire-tie, hose-clamp, or bungee cord the angle iron across the rear of the rack.

I've always wondered about towing with the bypass. Is there not a danger of overheating the transmission with no cooler? Well I just returned from my first towing trip...a 5 day trip pulling a 19' Crossover travel trailer at about 4000lbs GW and with another 600lbs of gear and 2 people in the Pathy...

Love the pics! Thumbs up on the basket and light mods! I'm about to install a LED light bar on the stock roof rack very soon myself. I may steal your idea, using the rear power source...you didn't patent that did you?! Haha.. No patent... I stole the idea from another member here on the Forum. befo...

Thanks! So here are a few images of the final product. I add four 6-LED Cree Spotlights onto the rack that I picked up on Amazon for $25 ea. Since this is setup to take on & off easily, I ran the power cable along the basket rib to the back, where I can just plug it in to the cigarette plug in t...

Re: Trasmission Cooler Bypass on 08, V8, 4x4 & Swaybar B

same with me, somewhat. before for general driving coolant is a constant 190F, and trans was almost always at 150F (sometimes would creep to ~155-160F when going up into the mountains) according to bully dog. now trans generally sits at 140F and creeps to 150F when going up into the mountains. dunn...

My son-in-law has a new 13 Armada and it is very nice. I was thinking the same thing, an Armada next? But I'm not sure they come in 4x4? Or if any lift kits are available? I think he is getting about the same mileage or better. The bigger size is a plus & minus for me. My prior SUV was a Excursi...

Hard to find those V8s. Took me 6 months to find mine... in gray, LE 4x4. I still have a few of those Internet alerts active for any color V8 4x4 within a 300mile range, and I only get an alert maybe one a month.
