Hey Blink. I haven't looked at GPS units in a while. So I can't really help much. Here is a website I used to read that is very helpful and you can get discounts if you join also. http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/default.asp?group=2 There are so many out now, that it's hard to choose, plus Alpine ...

I say go for it! If you can get the clearance and the independent suspension solid enough to feel comfortable. I would go with the guided tour first and check out some of the other harder trails after that. Experience is the key to keeping your Pathy in one piece. Plus having a good spotter. Don't g...

Boy you are going to have fun tweaking the corrado. Plus having the engine swap already done is a big check off the list. At least you don't have the useless variable wing. Plastic gears are just stupid. Will you be taking it to waterfest next year? It a good time with a show in the parking lot as g...

Sounds like you had a hell of a time getting that on. I haven't really looked past the oil pan on the wifes. Until I inherit it, I'll try and keep it simple. I may add some skid plates because of all the construction around here. You never know when something going to fly up off the road. New tires ...

I've found there is usually a bolt on the alternator that you loosen to change belts and adjust tension. Then tend to be hard to get to. I don't think they had a tensioner pulley.

I have found that pretty much all car companies set the speedo on the conservative side. So putting bigger tires on, probably did bring it in sinc. I know my saab is about 2 or 3 miles an hour off.

The Pathy has been very good to us. It's my wifes vehicle, so I just drive it on the weekends mostly and get to do the oil changes. I can't think of any real problems. The seat is making a grinding noise and there is a recall on it and we have the rust around the corners of the chrome shroud over th...

Try to get friendly with your service manager. Maybe the next time you are in for service, ask them to turn it off. I'm bringing ours in, because there is a grinding noise when it backs up. Plus a few other little things. There is about 26k on it so far.

At least it will be covered by the other drivers insurance. So what do they need to replace? At least the control arm, wheel and tire, hub for the axle, the axle and maybe some brake hardware?

Sorry to hear you got wacked. Hope they have insurance. Try to find a reputable shop to get the repairs done. They will probably have to replace the whole rear axle and pumpkin internals. Since the axle probably pushed into it and popped some things apart. Just make sure when you get it back that yo...

It looks like you are hooking up all the goodies. At least you are doing it all at once. It will make it easier than taking the interior apart a dozen times.
