Just my 2 cents, but I had Pirelli scorpians on my old ZJ and they lasted a long time. Plus you can get an E load rating for hauling. You might lose a little in mileage but the solid feel and ability sounds like what you are looking for. People I have talked to said the yoko's only last around 30k, ...

I looked at the schematics and it looks like it's programmed to not function when there is a speed signal coming in. You could probably set up a bypass, but it still might not work. Connector m24 pin 6(unified meter control unit) and m94/m95 (display control unit) pin 16 are the connections for the ...

Since it's my wife's all I have done is the same as you. I think that's the same exact settings I did. One thing about Bose, is that they are usually bassy to make up for their inadequate mid and upper range. Usually changing speakers will make the sound crisper, since the paper cones that come with...

I haven't tried to mess with the VDC, because it's mainly the wife's vehicle. My Saab has TCS, which is the same thing as VDC. It is fun to play with when it's wet. I can still spin the tires for a second until the TCS kicks in. I was going to take the wife's Pathy, but I'm keeping the Saab a little...

I would definitely take it to the dealer and have them check it on the computer. It sounds like the ECM is not doing it's job and may need to be replaced or reprogrammed. One thing you can try before the dealer, is disconnecting the battery for a hour and then running for a week and see if it is sti...

The only problem with that idea, is that they will be on even when the high beams are on. That is illegal in most areas. Usually you tap off of the low beam wiring, so they turn off when the high beams come on. I take it, that you didn't get the factory fog option on your Pathy? They actually do hel...

Welcome to the board. Yeah it's slow, but the head guy has already done some cool stuff to his rig. Plus there are a few senior members from other sites to help out.

The tread on the coopers look almost exactly like my old pirrelli scorpians I had on the old grand cherokee. What is the wear rating? Take the first 2 numbers and that is about how many thousand miles they are good for till they are totally dead.

Yeah the edges look a little rounded from the asphault. They seem to have plenty of meat left to them though. I haven't gotten new tires for the wifes Pathy yet. I'm going to run the originals into the ground first. I just spent $600 on my car last month for a wheel hub. Simplifying costs a lot more.

By the looks of those coopers, they are your daily sneakers. You must get some sorry mileage. I like the simple look though. Fresh mud splatter adds extra points.

Racer that is a great set up. I noticed a sag in Pathy's that were hauling trailers and wondered what to do about that. You seem to have the best inexpensive way to get it to ride correct. The air valve on the connector plate is an excellent idea. I had thought about airbag suspension, but that look...
