loss of power

i could be many things, but alot depends on what your symptoms are. is the engine sluggish? is the transmissing slipping? is it ok going from 1-3 gear(in auto) but higher gears are where it kinda peters out? ether way you pathy, is old, and probably has alot of miles on the enginer. First i would do...

the spedo in your pathy is faily simple. It's a cable that runs from the transmission to the back of your spedo. Where they connect there is a little nylon connecter that has a tendency of breaking. It is removable, and i have heard you can replace it(be carefull not to loose spring behind it). Me p...

I believe some came with them from the factory. I have seen a few at my local junkyard, but never really thought of grabing one.

fender

Yup they are.

Basically all wd21(belive the years are 87-95) or so are all swappable, infact my 89 pathy has parts from all different years lol. The big difference comes from interior(cluster gauge) and enginers, ie throttlebody injectors to full fuel injection

There are many things that can cause this. My first piece of advice is get the ECU(the computer) read for faults(any garage can do this for 20-30buck).

The activity you are describing can be caused my many factors, most of which are sensors that connect to the ecu.

Yup reset ecu, if that doesnt work, verify timing(after i rebuilt my enginer, i had the same issue, and notice my timing was off, set correctly i now idle at 800 or so rpm

ahhh..no

no, to replace timing belt you losen the TB tensioner, replace belt, and retension. It may seem like belt doesnt fit, but it does, also make sure everything is lined up correctly(teeth count etc). If you have no idea what im talking about. A)get chiltons/hanes manual, or b)take to a mechanic. Im not...

milage

It is very possible the dealer didnt know about the miles, and replaced cluster. Infact I wouldnt be surprised that who ever the previous owner was "sold/traded" in the vehicle did so knowing they were lying about the milage. But being a person who himself has purchased a vehicle with frad...

They are correct, the problem is probably the rockers. But they are full of sh*( saying you need a new motor. All you need done is have the heads rebuilt. If you do it yourself, ie remove the heads, take them to a shop to rebuild then install yourself, it would cost 400-600. if you take it to a mech...

My background is as design engineering, and would definatly like to help. I dont have the vehicle you guys have, so im not sure of the setup. But some things to ponder. 1st-is the nav system/display a self contained computer module? if so this may or may not be tricky. first it is an integrated boar...
