88 Pathy swap: from vg30i too??

Heh, took me a while to get back, but it finally happened, but trusty vg30i overheated and died a horrible steamy death. So, that being said, no choice but to hobble it home to replace the engine. (I'm still suprised the started and limped home). So, now I'm running a vg30de from an Infinity j30. Be...

I had the same problem for a while as well. wizard is right, there's a plug on the battery that deals with the fuel pump power supply. I cut off the plug and wired it all in directly so i didn't have to worry about it pulling out anymore. works wonders.

That is a good point, i will end up rebuilding whichever engine i put into the truck next. the problem i have is that i want a significant power increase over the engine i have now. Which, since I'm in california, I have to remain emissions compliant. boring or stroking out my engine, would probably...

Wire harness question.

I have a 87 pathy, with the vg30i which probably has 6 months left in it. My question is, since the newer path's came with the vg30e, how much of the harness do i have to change over to complete the swap? I'd rather have the vg33, and I got a tip that i could use the vg30e harness with that engine, ...

I'm usin 31x10.50 tires right now, and if I'm really movin' it'll rub a little bit on the stock fender flares. That is, until I lifted the front end with the torsions a bit, and the rubbing went away for me. check your wheel alignment afterwards tho if you do that, hehe.

Lifting the rear frame a bit.

I have a question about lifting my path. I'm been replacing bushings and suspension components on the front as the last owner didn't take good care off it before. (I'll take a pic of my strut rod bushings sometime.) But now that I've kranked the torsions until the front is now 2 inches higher than t...

Ello from Sacramento, CA!

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums and this is my first Path, it's an 87, that I picked up for $200 because the last owner couldn't fix the timing belt. http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/vv250/darksupra25/ThePath4.jpg I really wanna lift it, but I'm not sure how to go about it just yet. Plus the o...
