thanks guys, I'll look around for a shop. The cold doesn't usually bother me, but going to work at 4 am for the last two weeks in the freezing cold is not fun. The worst part of it is that it's just cold, no snow, no rain, just bloody cold.

Heated Seats

I got out of the freezing cold into my 2005 PF after work today only to sit on some real cold cloth seats. That's when I got this crazy idea of having heated seats. Did any of the SE's come with heated cloth seats? Has anyone install heaters in their PF seats? Or am I just wishing?

JEGS lists the red top as 9020-164. They sell it for 149.99. Here in Vancouver, they're going for up to 229.99. JEGS sounds like a good deal for a great battery. :P

Five years on a set of lightbulbs is pretty good. I was a little concerned with spending $80-100 on lights that would last for 6 months like a pair of Sylvanias that I had on my Mazda Tribute. I guess I'm upgrading my lights.
Thanks.

My PF is a 2005 SE with the Premium package. It's a great SUV for hauling all of our stuff. Most importantly, it has a TON of room in the back for Tyson and Samba, my two labs.

Triffid, how long have you had the PIAA'S. What's the life expectancy? I'm on the verge of buying a set, but I would hate to waste $100 if they'll burn out in six months.

I drove from Vancouver, BC to Anaheim through Seattle and Portland for Christmas last year. We just happened to drive into the eye of a snow storm. I pulled into a Les Schwab store to get some chains and was met by a 2 hour lineup. All snow tires were sold out and the chains were selling just as fas...

Living in Vancouver, I would have thought I'd have a lot of rust on my undercarriage with all the rain we get here, but surprisingly I found very little. I did however find rust on the rear hatch, in the corners underneath the chrome rear hatch handle. I went to my local dealership and was told that...

I have a rear hitch 4 bike Thule rack. It's very easily accessible, and with a pull of a pin, it folds away easily so you can access your back door. I found the roof rack to be a bit of a pain because of the height of the vehicle.

I took my PF to the stealership for the same spring issue and they told me that it's a very common issue. The shop tech had it back in place in ten seconds flat and told me that they stock the springs in the shop because people break them and/ or they fall out all the time. I learned how to fix it m...

Are there any tire dealers on this forum that offer deals to members? The BFG A/T's are great tires. I had a pair of 35x12.5 on my CJ7. I was impressed with the handling on and off road.
