I got a Metra dash kit from ebay ($13) for mine but it was ordered last and arrived about a week after all of my other install stuff. Came with faceplate and 2 pieces of plastic for mounting it. I ended up installing everything without the dash kit and it looks fine, however, there is the slight gap...

I didn't "need" a dash kit with my 2 din pioneer, however, there is a small <cm gap above the cd player that the dash kit covers. For really clean look, get the kit. If you don't mind a tiny gap, then don't bother with the kit.

Old thread, but I'm planning the reverse cam install today. I'm wondering how everyone mounted their cameras? I have a license plate cam and still pondering how I'm going to get the wires into the truck. Planning on taking apart the rear paneling today.
