I got Bilstein HD in the rear and love it. My rears were shot too hell and I would get a "death wobble" on the hwy. New bilsteins were the answer. And now that I got the airlift 1000 it's very controlled. I saw that you said you tow a lot. I would consider the airlift 1000 as it levels the...

I got a great deal on tires
Toyo open county a/t 785/75/16 with full size spare. brand new balanced installed for $600

Lift $800

Airlift 1000 $120 (optional but recommended)

alignment $100

Total: $1620 (did all the labour myself except tire installation and alignment)

Worth it!

That will work and shouldn't change your ride much other than the truck being higher. Watch out you don't lift the front too much though and you get higher in the front than the back. Measure before you buy and add 2.5 to the front and 2 to the back and make sure they end up the same or slightly hig...

Don't forget about the spare tire too. That's another tire you need to buy when going up a size plus if you go too big it won't fit under the truck and you will need to find an alternate spot like a tire carrier which is big $$$

roof bolts

What size are the screws that hold the cross rails on? I wanted to buy some new ones that will just screw right in as i was looking at making a low pro roof basket.

or should i just reuse the ones that come out?
